How it works
Parents download KinderSmart on their iPhone or Android devices and register within the system. Once their provider has approved registration, parents can use their phones to check their children in and out of care. To complete check-in or check-out, families scan a QR code, which pulls up the list of children assigned to them, and then mark each child as checked-in, checked-out, or absent. The child’s guardian then electronically signs and submits the record, to be confirmed by and stored in the host system.
Accurate, detailed attendance history
When families complete a check-in or check-out transaction, your agency will get a record of that transaction. KinderSmart instantly logs the time, type, and location in an electronic timestamp. The app also captures the parent or guardian’s name and signature, along with any optional notes about the transaction. With KinderSmart, your agency gets a detailed log of activity that you can confidently rely on for attendance-tracking, licensing, and child care operational purposes.
