How it works
KinderSign tablet apps are generally installed on tablets where you traditionally keep your sign-in log or paper attendance sheets. Families start by tapping their own phone numbers to identify themselves. Once their phone number is identified, they use a PIN number to authenticate themselves. Optionally, the app takes a snapshot of the person for further authentication and additional security.
Easy to use
Because drop-offs and pick-ups in KinderSign are automatically recorded, the app eliminates the need for families to sign in and out with paper sheets. Your families need only enter their PIN numbers, snap a quick picture of their faces, and sign to authenticate their transaction when they check their children in or out of care.
Detailed, accurate attendance history
As soon as check-in or check-out is complete, KinderSign instantly logs the time, type, and location of the transaction in an electronic timestamp. The app also collects any notes or absence information from the family member or guardian. That information can be retrieved on-demand later, streamlining record keeping and improving accuracy.
