Megan leads the Product Management team at KinderSystems, overseeing product vision and strategy, creating initiatives to support our strategy, and feature development from ideation through delivery. Megan’s value as a leader is driven by inspiring her team to be acutely focused on making our customers’ jobs easier and aligning our strategy with their vision. To do that, she believes in continuous innovation, immense collaboration, and empowering customers to have a voice. Megan has been developing software for state and local governments for over 20 years and is thrilled to now be in the subsidized child care arena.
I believe in our mission to expand high quality child care to as many children and families as possible. Working with states and local authorities to be able to easily expand their outreach allows me to make a difference in my everyday work.
I love it when we deliver something that makes our customers say, “Wow, you just made my life so much easier!” I know it’s cheesy, but it lets us know we did something right.
Living in the mountains of Colorado, I am a huge fan of winter. When not at work, I am usually either playing in the snow or playing in the water. A large part of my winter is spent volunteering with an adaptive ski program. It’s brought incredible value to my life ensuring every person can get out on the hill regardless of their physical or mental abilities. Having three children also keeps me very busy and I am grateful that they also love the outdoors. On a rainy day, you may find me reading across multiple genres, although often a fiction thriller or product management book.
